Daren McCoy is an American artist born in 1986. Born and raised in Maryland, he lived across the United States before finding a home in Southern California. A dedicated painter, Daren is recognized for his large-scale acrylic works characterized by high-contrast, clean line work, and bold cell shading. His style is heavily influenced by 20th-century pop art, contemporary art, comic books, and anime/manga, with his current work drawing deeply from the legacy of Tom of Finland and the aesthetics of the leather, kink, and queer communities.

His creative process is further informed by a background in filmmaking and cinematic storytelling, which contributes to the dramatic framing and composition found in his paintings. Currently serving his community as Eagle LA Mr. Leather 2026, Daren lives and works in Los Angeles.
